Memberships

MEMBERSHIP AT BAY POINT YACHT & COUNTRY CLUB
     For over thirty years the best of Bay Point has been offered to a select membership by Bay Point Yacht & Country Club. Members pay no green fees, pay discounted cart or annual trail fees and are eligible to participate in a wide variety of member activities. 
     Local, Corporate, National and Seasonal members may obtain membership on a year-to-year basis without the payment of an initiation fee

Golf Membership is available in the following categories:

LOCAL MEMBERS
     Members residing within 90 miles of Bay Point or who have established Bay Point as their legal address.

NATIONAL MEMBERS
     Members residing 91 or more miles from Bay Point.

SEASONAL MEMBERS
     Seasonal Membership is available on a monthly basis (five months maximum) to families or individuals who do not maintain a legal full time residence in Bay Point, Bay or Walton Counties.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
     Issued to a business entity in the name of a designated executive.      Only full-time employees or officers of the company and their immediate family are eligible for this membership.

FAMILY OR INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP
Family Membership

     May be purchased for husband, wife and children under 22 years or age living at home or enrolled in a boarding school or college.
Individual Membership
     May be purchased in the name of an individual.

Corporate Membership

Only companies obtaining membership for two or more members are eligible. Dues must be paid by the company or corporation applying for membership.

Corporate dues shown are for individual membership. Family Corporate Membership may be purchased for an additional payment of $350 per family.

GOLF CARTS
     The use of golf carts is required on the Bay Point golf courses. Golf Members shall be charged $18 per person per round for the year beginning on April 1, 2004, and ending on April 30, 2005:

RANGE FEES
     Member pricing for facility usage is available to club members.

LOCKER AND TOWEL SERVICE
     The Club maintains a newly remodeled room at the Club Meadows Pro Shop. Showers and individual lockers are available.

BAG STORAGE
     Bag and shoe storage are available at the Club Meadows Pro Shop.

MEMBERSHIP ACTIVITIES
     Member golf activities are coordinated through an elected Members' Golf Committee and other member organizations including the Bay Point Men's Golf Association and Bay Point Ladies' Golf Association. These member-affiliated groups sponsor a wide variety of golfing and social activities for members of virtually every golfing skill and interest.

ALL MEMBER TOURNAMENTS
     Numerous tournaments open to all members are held each year, including an annual Club Championship Tournament.

OPEN DOGFIGHT TOURNAMENTS
     Each Tuesday and Thursday morning the Club sponsors an open men's dogfight for members and their guests.

BAY POINT MEN'S GOLF ASSOCIATION (MGA)
     All men golfers are eligible for membership in MGA The MGA sponsors monthly tournaments, including an annual Championship Tournament and Awards Banquet. Officers of the MGA are elected annually by the members of the association and are responsible for tournament management.

BAY POINT LADIES' GOLF ASSOCIATION (LGA)
     All lady golf members are eligible for membership in LGA. The LGA sponsors weekly tournaments on Wednesday for players of all levels, including a special nine hole group designed to introduce beginning players to the sport. The LGA also sponsors an annual Ladies Championship, an annual Ladies Invitational Tournament and monthly Couples golf.

ASSOCIATED ORGANIZATIONS
     The Club sponsors its golf members in numerous inter club events. Other local member playing groups are also supported by the Club, including groups in which participation depends on playing proficiency, age or other considerations.

     All member activities are supported by golf professionals who also provide clinics, youth programs, individual golf lessons, tournament coordination, handicap and other services. The Club's facilities include two fully stocked pro shops, a practice range, putting clock, locker rooms, exercise room, private members' room and restaurant.
